Daniel Fenton, PhD

Head of Neuropsychological Services

Daniel is the Head of Neuropsychological Services at newdays. Dr. Fenton completed his undergraduate studies at University of California Santa Cruz in psychology and cognitive neurosciences. He then earned his doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a focus in neuropsychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco (CSPP). At CSPP he developed a specialized intervention to reduce stress levels of parents of children with special needs.

After graduate school, Dr. Fenton completed a residency in clinical neuropsychology at the Iowa City V.A. Medical Center where his research and clinical work focused on the behavioral impact of mild traumatic brain injury, as well as memory disorders.

Dr. Fenton went on to complete his postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychological and rehabilitation at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. While on fellowship, his research and clinical work focused on memory problems found in individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, the behavioral impact of memory disorders, as well as acute, subacute, and chronic neurocognitive conditions.

Dr. Fenton resides in Los Angeles, California and in his spare time enjoys traveling with his wife, gardening, and cooking recipes from his collection of cookbooks.
