Daniel is a founder of NewDays alongside Babak Parviz, with a deeply personal mission: supporting people with cognitive impairments. Having witnessed the impact of dementia across multiple generations of his family, Daniel's work is driven by firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by those affected by cognitive decline.
As Chief Innovation Officer at NewDays, Daniel leads the development of solutions that empower individuals with cognitive impairments to maintain their independence and quality of life. His technology leadership experience includes heading engineering teams at Google X and Amazon Grand Challenges, where he honed his expertise in breakthrough innovation. Daniel has co-founded several ventures in digital health and green technology, demonstrating his commitment to societal impact.
Daniel's innovative contributions are reflected in his portfolio of over ten patents. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from James Madison University, with minors in Math, Philosophy, and English. Throughout his career, Daniel has focused on bridging the gap between advanced technology and real-world impact, and is currently driven by the belief that innovation can meaningfully improve lives affected by cognitive challenges.
