Morgan Dixon, PhD

Morgan is the Head of UX at NewDays, with the mission of making the most engaging and accessible product possible. Morgan earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. His work spans designing and implementing innovative user interface technologies, with a focus on mental and physical health, accessibility, and creativity.

Before joining newdays, Morgan held roles as a research scientist at Adobe Research, a Senior UX Engineer at Google, and an early-stage engineer at multiple successful startups, including AppSheet (acquired by Google) and Descript.

He has extensive experience prototyping cutting-edge technologies, including LLM tools and AI-based audio editing systems, and has worked as both a UX designer and engineer on these various products. He also was a founder and CEO of a peer-to-peer mental health support platform, reflecting his passion for using technology to foster connection and well-being.
